The nightclub Chivago River (commonly named just Chivago), in a road near Catadau (València, Spain) was founded in the late 1970s. On the 1980s and 1990s it had a great success, with a large influx of people from all the province Valencia, where it is placed. This link in Valencia Bonita has more information about it (in Spanish)
Let’s go into.
With two floors, it had three dance floors for different music styles (later a forth one), a terrace and a restaurant. On Saturdays there were performances of singers and bands as Lene Lovich, Tino Casal, Nina Hagen, Gabinete Caligari, Azul y Negro, etc. (likely they are unknown for most of you nowadays, but they were hit singers here at that moment).

After its foundation it changed name twice, Fontana and later Penélope. But in the 2000s, it went into decline, as other large nightclubs here in that age (in that years, police increased alcohol and drug tests in the roads to nightclubs, so people prefered to go to their local discos). Finally it closed in 2008.
Very cool, the last time I went to an abandoned place I got sprayed by a skunk!

Oh, that sounds bad! There aren’t skunks here, I can find rats and cats, but nothing more.

She sort of got me as I was passing by so it was mostly on my sneakers. At the coffee shop the girl said-it smells like skunk in here and I said that’s me. 😁
